Firstly, if a player can only turn his head so much, a full 360 rotation would be impossible to maintain, without hurting your neck of course. Now, to combat that, it would easily be possible to use, say, a button to toggle between rotational movement to strafing movement. B trigger would be excellent. Release a button and return to rotation. Hold it, and move.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Head tracking is only a way of being aware and immersed in your environment, so it should not be used to burden the player with holding their head in a fixed way. Hope this helps your idea. Maybe you could do a video like Johnny Lee and prove the effectiveness of this idea to Nintendo. I for one would absolutely die for a technology like this. Hope this helps! -- Amos</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/9082250668537695880/2070747521365337141/comments/default/4466859644191732343'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/9082250668537695880/2070747521365337141/comments/default/4466859644191732343'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.fullmotion.org/2008/08/wii-motionplus-6dof-head-tracking.html?showComment=1259370558236#c4466859644191732343' title=''/><author><name>Auracaelum</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/02274480082346681668</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='32' height='24' src='http://bp3.blogger.com/_Wf-jXIEPNfY/R5g95ScUGFI/AAAAAAAAAAU/5-x5VM9Pa48/S220/p6416376.png'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.fullmotion.org/2008/08/wii-motionplus-6dof-head-tracking.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9082250668537695880.post-2070747521365337141' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/9082250668537695880/posts/default/2070747521365337141' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-1424604412'/></entry></feed>
