"The human body is a great joystick." -- unknown

Motion capture technology is frequently used by game developers to capture human motion for their characters.

"Full Motion" is where motion capture is used on the PLAYER for the purpose of creating a 3D model that mimics the player's actions in real time.

07-31 Presentation

Today I gave a tech-oriented presentation on Wii Full Motion.

It can be found online HERE.

A lot of it is stuff you've seen before, but some of it is new.

Good Presentation, It Could Easily Be Real Just How Much Would It Cost Do You Think? And What Games?

I Think Star Wars, Red Steel Or The Conduit Could Benefit From Wii Full Motion

Well I really like what this guy has thought up with adding the motion detection into the cap. Now if only they'd make themed caps like helmets for WW2 games and headbands for sports games. xD This looks like it will turn into something grand, although I am waiting for the motion gaming taking a step outdoors instead of being locked into a single room in front of a screen.
